Strange issue with mouse/touchpad and keyboard, keys/clicks not "holding"

Over the past couple of days both my mouse, touchpad on my computer and keyboard on my laptop have been having issues "holding buttons". Neither my mouse or touch pad will drag and hold anything without dropping the target early. For example, if I try to highlight text it will only highlight some of the text as if I let go of the left click button early despite the fact that the cursor continued to move over the text. Likewise, my keyboard is not consistently registering usage of the control/alt/shift keys consistently making it difficult to do things like use shorthand or capitalize letters.

    :)

The "a" key has stopped working on my keyboard

    Hi,

    • Have you tried using other external keyboard?
