Windows 10: Strange Notification About my Windows Account - What is this?

I got the following notification pop up:

Microsoft account problem

We need to fix your Microsoft Account (most likely your password changed) Select here to fix it in Shared experiences settings.

Now I haven't changed my password and the only reason I have a Microsoft account is I had to reconstruct my Windows 10 professional from scratch one time and they required me to have an account. Any ideas as to what is going on here? Has there been some damage to the operating system?

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

• In which application are you receiving the notification?
  

If you are receiving the notification in Mail App, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps in the article

Your account settings are out-of-date in Mail or Calendar for Windows 10 and see if that helps in resolving the issue.
