Windows 10: Strange pops in Windows 10 audio (1903-1909)

Hi, I'm new here, and I've been having an irritating problem with my audio since January 2020, I hear "pops" and static sounds in Windows 10 audio ... This affects any and all audio devices on the PC. This issue affects music, videos, games, discord and more...

I'm using Windows 10 Pro (18363.753) with i5-8400 / B360M Aorus / 12GB RAM / GTX 1060 6GB

For example, when you skip a video on youtube, you notice a clear click that didn't exist before...

It all started when I upgraded to 1903 and 1909 in January, since then, regardless of which version I change, it always has the same problem...

Formatting doesn't fix it, reverting to an old version of Windows 10 doesn't fix either; I already changed the hardware parts, like the motherboard. Did not work...

Windows 10 1903 1909 repeated failure to update

Well would't you know it. I did everything, every step, all the suggestions, months of failed downloads and was going to wipe everything tomorrow and start again, but remembered I hadn't tried your suggestion of updating to 1809 before 1903/09, and blow
me down, but it's updated to 1809 with ease!

I have yet to dare to try and get it to update to 1909 but it's the 1st progress in months, so thanks.

After I installed the Windows 10 Feature Update from 1903 to 1909 my Windows Update History shows

Looking in the About page it lists Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720

In the past when I've installed a Feature Update it only shows the new update. In other words in this case it would only show 1909. Since it shows 1903 also is my computer really upgraded to 1909? Also the (2) after the 1909 is something I don't understand.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
