Windows 10: strange problem happened to me

Hello Everyone.


I had a problem with my laptop before 3 days.


I was working on my laptop and suddenly my laptop went down, I turned it on and it kept restarting for 30 minutes and failed to boot up.


after that I recognized something is wrong and tried to fix it somehow. actually I couldn't and I had to get my Windows 10 USB to access to the advanced boot menu.


again I tried all the methods in that menu such as :

unintall leatest fetures and updates.

repair.

etc …...


nothing happened until I formatted my laptop and lost all my information on my disk C with is the SSD 128 GB and also the disk has been turned into unlocated space.

I formatted my HDD Disk 1 TB and installed my windows over there.


now I'm using it with no problems and everything work fine.


I'm wondering what was the problem and why my SSD lost all the files and became unlocated space , also how can I avoid such a problem with my SSD in the future since I'm pining to reinstall the Windows on the SSD the original state of the laptop.


also is there any way to recover the data from the SSD since it's still unlocated space ?

8800GTS problems.

Seems pretty strange to me. I have a standard 8800GTS, the only problem I get is the BSOD nv4_disp.dll thing, which in my case I think is linked to heat on other parts of the video card.

I would suggest completely removing the drivers using Driver Cleaner, and install the ones that came with the card first. If the problem continues, remove again, try the newest drivers. If it still happens, underclock the card and try the same steps. In the end, talk to EVGA and see what they tell you.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

Strange boot problem

I am trying to get my head round the 6 steps above before having a go. If you can expand on them it may give me a bit more confidence. I cant lose the whole contents of my PC.
Have attached details as you suggested.
