Windows 10: Strange upgrade to 10 pro

I had installed win 10 home originally.
I don't remember well, I was on EDGE (It did not show that message on other browsers), and I wrote, Howto upgrade to windows 10 pro
Something like that appeared.



But instead of being on the left with the message, upgrade to win 10 pro, it have a blue icon on the right that said INSTALL.
I clicked it and after a while, it make me reboot and I had windows 10 pro.

Anyone know what happened?

Windows 10 Hang Issues

Hi,

Recently i have upgrade Windows 10 pro from Windows 8.1 Professional.

This is very strange and random situation my computer just stuck,no mouse movement , no keyboard working.

can some please help me to diagnostic issue

 

Windows 8 SL to Windows 10 Pro

Hello. Can someone explain me strange thing?

I had Windows 8 Single Language (not Pro!). I updated it to Windows 10 and got this: "Win 10 RTM CoreSingleLanguage Retail". All is okay? Yes, okay. But...

Then i goes to Windows Store to Upgrade my edition to Pro version. I just pushed the button (there was no cost) and I got this: "Product Name: Windows 10 Pro". Activated and working.

So upgraded my Windows 8 Single Language to Windows 10 Pro version.

Now is my question... How?!

"When your previous OS is activated, when you upgrade to Windows 10 it will also be activated also. In your case, your PK is also for Pro version of Windows 10." - I got this answer from "Contact Support".

So, how my Windows 8 SL, can be Pro version of Windows 10? I mean... it is good, but wrong I think... Maybe it's a bug.

I'd guess the Win10 install picked up on an earlier install of Win7 or Win8/8.1 Pro. As long as it is Activated properly and working I'd just set back and enjoy it, the Pro version has more than most consumers will need.
