  1. Strange Windows 11 Profile Behaviour at First Boot/Login

I had originally thought this was related to a patch, but the profile issue is indicated as having been corrected. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything similar?Over the last couple of weeks or so, I've been having "Profile" issues upon first boot of my laptop getting logged on first thing in the morning. I'm using Windows 11 Pro 22H2 Build 22621.674. This was working without issue prior to the 22H2 update. Here is the sequence of events that I go through every morning now:1. Power on the laptop, upon boot receive error for profile service before even attempting to log

    Cortana strange behaviours

    Hello Gabriel,

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we can identify why Cortana is not working properly:

    • Have you recently made any change/updates prior to this issue?
    • Did you try to login to a different user account to check if it is the same?

In the meantime, you can try these steps to isolate the issue:

As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps listed in this

    article

on how to troubleshoot Cortana issues
    .

    Let us know the outcome.

    Regards.

Windows 10 Pro Anniversary Edition Strange Login Problem

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for replying!
I have followed the steps u suggested. The "sfc /scannow" resulted in no errors.
So I created another user account and voila, that 'fixed' the problem.
When I booted my PC and couldn't log in to my own account, I then could login to the other account.

Is there a way to not have to transfer everything between user accounts, to fix the account I am currently using?

    Thanks in advance!

    Bitlocker strange behaviour on boot

    Hey everyone,

last weekend I've custom build a new system which includes a TPM module so I can make use of the Bitlocker functionality but I've experienced some very strange behaviour when booting the system:

When I turn the system on from a full shutdown Bitlocker will ask me for my recovery key every time if my keyboard is plugged in, if I unplug the keyboard before turning the system on it boots up normally straight into windows. If I restart the system from
within windows it will always ask me for a recovery key no matter if I unplug my keyboard first or not. I've tried two keyboards so far, both driverless, and it's the same behaviour no matter which of the two I use.

I've already tried the following to fix this problem:

    - suspended bitlocker and resuming it after reboot

    - full bios, tpm and bitlocker reset

    - played around with some tpm and secure boot settings in bios

    - disabled PCR 2 in windows "TPM native UEFI firmware configuration" policy

all with no sucess or any changes to the behaviour.

    System:

    - Windows 10 Pro 2004

    - Asrock Taichi X570

    - Asrock TPM-SPI Module

    - Ryzen 9 3900X

    - 2 x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo

    - System drive is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus

    - Keyboards used are the Ducky One 2 SF and the Womier K66
