  1. Strangest Ethernet Problem, New Computer. Cannot figure it out.

    Hey guys,

I'd like to preface this by saying for the past 5 years or so, I've built many computers, all of which had zero issues. Today, I built a new one, and now I'm dealing with my first issue. Here are some specs that I think matter:

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z490-A Gaming

    CPU: i7-10700k

    OS: Windows 10 Home

I only connect via ethernet and nothing else because I don't have access to wifi. The problem occurs when I RESTART my computer. After I restart my computer, my ethernet does not work. I even plugged it into my old computer, and it works perfectly. I plug it back into my new computer, still no internet.

HOWEVER, here's the crazy part. If I SHUT DOWN my computer and turn it back on, my Internet/Ethernet works like a charm. Zero problems, nothing. I made sure to test this MULTIPLE times, and every time, it's related to RESTARTING ONLY. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the LAN drivers, but that doesn't fix it. I'm fairly certain I'm not doing anything wrong (or maybe I am).

Another note. I tried disabling my ethernet. Then, I would enable it. After about 10 seconds, it just starts working. This leads me to suspect I either have some kind of faulty ethernet port, or maybe something is seriously messed up with the latest Windows 10, or the drivers are bad. I cannot conclude where the source of the problem is. Has anyone else had this happen?

IP configuration not valid - interference from ethernet adapter?

Solution 1: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1or Windows 10

    Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
    Step 2:

    Expand it (Network adapters).

    Step 3:

    Select your network adapter

    Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
    Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.

    Step 7:

Now choose the “Manufacturer’s drivers” from the list of two and then click next.

    Step 8:

After the completion of the process just restart your PC and check if the problem is solved or not. If not, goto solution 2.

Solution 2: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1,windows10

    Step 1:

    Open command prompt.
    Step 2:

Just go on hitting the enter after typing the each command.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
    Step 3:

Now to check if the settings are disabled type:
    netsh int tcp show global
    then hit enter.
    Step 4:

Now the thing left is just rebooting your system and just check if the problem is solved or not and just give feedback.*chuckle*Thumbs
