Windows 10: Streaming Audio Cuts Out

Very recently I replaced an aging laptop running Win 7 with new, high powered, Win 10 one. But when I try to listen to SiriusXM using Edge, the sound cuts out for periods of 30sec or longer, sometimes stopping altogether. Changing channels brings it right back. When I fire up the old, slow, laptop, listening with Firefox, the music doesn't miss a beat.


When I look at Display Manager, it shows 3 devices:

Intel Display Audio

Realtek High Def Audio

Thinkpad Dock USB Audio


All report the latest drivers. I'm docked so I'm on my gigabit Ethernet network, not WiFi. Network speed is not an issue.


Does anyone have a solution or experienced this problem? Maybe I need Firefox on this machine.

Xbox One Streaming to PC (Win 10), lost audio after a week of streaming

So I was streaming my Xbox to my Windows 10 PC and everything was going great. I cancel the stream on the PC went back into it right away on my PC and notice there was no audio.

Every time I try to stream now, there is no Audio coming when I stream. There volume is working properly on my PC, just get no audio when I stream to my PC.

It was working last weekend with no issues, I was able to complete an entire game with audio. I start a new game, was able to play it with audio, and the audio cut out throughout the entire Xbox app on my computer.

I tired some of the suggestions I found on other forums but no luck. Any suggestions to fix this issue? Anyone else had this issue before?

***UPDATE*** So I just check the xbox on my TV also and there is no audio. I didn't hit any setting that turned off the audio, but now I'm not getting any audio from Xbox or Streaming my Xbox.

1) Is the issue confined with specific browser, when you say online audio and video is not working?

2) Is the issue is confined with play online audio/video or with system audio as well?

3) Which exact Windows troubleshooter you have run?



I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.



Step 1: If you have not performed audio troubleshooter then, I suggest you to perform audio troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Select Playing Audio under
  Sound and follow the on screen.
  

Step 2: Set Windows Audio services as manual.

Follow the below steps:

1) Press Windows key + r, type services.msc and hit Enter.

2) Check for the Windows Audio services.

3) Right click on the service and select Manual.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
