Windows 10: Streaming TV via Internet but laptops and handhelds are patch at Best

I've recently acquired fttb Internet connection with TPG Australia. Router is tplink vx420-G2v. I have Windows 11 version 23H2.Everything seemed to work well for about a week and then I found the connection to become so patchy it was unusable. Everything Samsung Smart TV, Pixel 7a phone and 2 Windows laptops could connect to the router but not access the Internet. I was able to access and control the smart device which controls my air-conditioner. TPG suggested some different DNS settings and things improved slightly with the 2 laptops and phone from completely unusable to seemingly ok the

Unable to stream to a Smart TV

We understand the difficulties, as you are unable to stream your PC or mobile to your smart TV.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the model number of the Smart TV?
• How are you streaming the devices to your smart TV? (Miracast/Chromecast)
• Are you aware of any recent changes, prior to this issue?
• What happens when you try to stream the device, is there any error message?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to update the drivers for Bluetooth and Network Adapter drivers from device manager. Please refer this article to

streaming from laptop to tv

when I plug my laptop into my tv to stream the screen only shows my picture on a side on the tv how do I change it?

1. Have you tried streaming through a different PC?
   
2. Are you trying to stream the content through an external hard drive?
   

Since you are able to connect the PC to the TV, I suggest you to copy the files to a USB and connect it to the TV to check if you are able to play the files or not.
