Windows 10: Streets & Trips 2013 error message 0xC0040301

Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 has begun to give an error message since a recent Windows 10 update. The splash screen says a licensing initialization error has occurred. Please contact customer support for more assistance Error 0xC0040301 Can anyone help?

I am really getting tired of the run around I'm getting in regards to Windows 1709 version and Microsoft apps. Prior to windows 10 version my computer ran awesome, then update to version 1709 finally got its way onto my computer and it screwed up apps like
the store, maps and many other third party software I had. It also slowed my browsers to a snails pace among other apps. To rectify this, it was suggested I do a PC reset. So I did the computer reset and my computer improved to the point I was happy with
it. However some Microsoft apps do not work, such as Maps, Microsoft store and a few other non-essential stuff. The software that will not load and run is Microsoft streets and trips, which gives me an licensing initialization error. It ran perfectly prior
to this 1709 update. How do I go back to version 1607 or rectify the licensing initialization error. On other posts I read it says Microsoft can send a patch to rectify this Please advise.

I also have Streets and trips 2007 which runs on Windows 10, so why will 2013 not run. I also loaded the 2013 version on my windows 8.1 laptop and it runs perfectly. why did Microsoft purposely disable 2013 from running on windows 10 1709.

I want this fixed as I have 20 files saved as streets and trip 2013 which by the way will not open in version 2007, if i cant get them to open they are totally useless to me.

 

Licensing error 0xC004D301 on Streets and trips 2013

Streets and Trips has been discontinued yes I know this. So my question is there anyone on here or in the world that can resolve the Licensing error 0xC004D301 on Streets and trips 2013. Microsoft support will just sit there and ignore you when you call
them for advice. I have used streets and trips and payed for every streets and trips ever put out by Microsoft only to be left with a pile of **** of a program that will not even start up now. I have read and done every suggestion on the internet and the only
fix is a reset tool download that you will never get access to from Microsoft ever again......If anyone can help that would be very appreciated.

I have uninstalled completely and removed all other leftovers with an uninstaller program also. I have created a different admin account and that did not work. Deleted and reinstalled the c++ stuff in programs, did not work. Thanks
