Windows 10: Stuck at blurry and blank pin screen after Feature 20H2 Update.

Basically it shows the background of the windows start up screen and all but there's no pin when ever I try to get in it just shows me a blank lock screen. Below is what I see granted this is a screen shot of a video I took of it so motion blur but the point still stands.

Windows 10 stuck at black screen


hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works

 

Bitlocker Blank blue screen at PIN screen

Our organization requires Laptops to be Encrypted with a PIN #. One of our Laptops is giving me trouble. I have Bitlocker turned on and fully encrypted and have require Startup PIN with TPM in the Require additional authentication at startup in GPEDIT. I also have the Enable use of Bitlocker Authentication Requiring preboot Keyboard input on Slates enabled. When turning on the Laptop Bitlocker comes up with the light blue screen where you enter the PIN but the screen is blank. It doesn't say Bitlocker or have a box to enter the PIN #. Now I can just type the pin # and press enter and it works and loads windows as normal. I obviously can't give this Laptop to a user like this.

Anybody have any suggestions as to a resolution to this issue.

Another user was implying that he couldn't enter the PIN. In any case the "spinning wheel" which was shown and you have now described makes me think that there is a driver problem.

So, if you are seeing a normal Lock Screen before whatever it is that you are doing to make this happen please try the workarounds I suggested using Narrator and the Shift-Restart on the Power button menu.
You can start Narrator at the Lock screen. That should cause the Login screen which would have the Power button at the bottom right.

Also, is this facial recognition? What happens if you disable the camera?
