Windows 10: Stuck at loading windows after updates, then unable to even reach advanced repair options,...

After some updates 2 days ago, not sure which, probably Windows updates and some BIOS updates, yesterday I kept getting stuck at loading windows when starting my laptop. Didnt work so I did hard resets to get into advanced repair options. I ran diagnostics and everything was good.

In advanced repair options I tried next:

1. Uninstalling latest updates - didnt work.
2. Start up fix - didnt work.
3. Reset PC with keeping files - it got to 100% and shut off. Then, when turning it on, I would get stuck again. However, now doing start resets it would get stuck even on attempting repairs and I couldnt even reach advanced repair options! I did about 60-70 hard resets, no chance.

Managed to get Windows on USB from a friend and I wanted to try my last option today - boost through USB and repair through there and do a clean reinstall.

However, I turned my laptop on, forgetting to set to USB in BIOS and didnt even put USB in my laptop, any my God, it turned on out of nowhere. All files on it, all programs on it. Did 3 restarts, works every time.

Now I can see pending windows updates for 1909 and below a feature update for 2004. I am very afraid to touch any of them and I am afraid they could be forced to install and it would happen again. For now I paused the updates for 7 days.

I am using Dell G3 3590, i7 9750H, Nvidia Gtx 1660 Ti driver version 452.06, some Intel UHD too, 16 Gb RAM. My windows version is 1909 (OS Build 18363.959).

What should I do? Or not do? What about the updates? Should I do them or try to avoid them as long and possible, and how to avoid them?

*Note, the updates on the photo are not stuck on 0% (I think), I just unpaused so they could be shown and then paused again.

Windows 10 Advanced Options Menu to Repair

I would try the following steps in order:

1. Remove the laptop main battery for a few minutes - may reset something
2. Load BIOS defaults
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free on another PC, create a Reflect USB repair disk then use that disk to repair your laptop
4. Recover from backup if you have one
5. Perform a Windows 10 repair install - see instructions on this forum

Update:
Tried the Repair disk. Still back to "Your pc ran into a problem", "Preparing automatic repair" followed by Advanced Options which have been tried again.

Would anyone recommend:

• bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
• bootrec.exe /fixmbr
• bootrec.exe /fixboot

Otherwise, I have a bootable Win PE file waiting to be burned on to USB key, as suggested by other Forum user, but unsure what to do with it when (or if) it boots up the laptop.
