Windows 10: Stuck at Windows 10 safe mode login page. Doesn't accept my password. Tried enabling safe...

From past few hours I've been trying to look for the solution. My device needed cleaning up, so i installed AMD clean-up utility software and it asked me if i want to do it in the safe mode which I thought it would be appropriate. And then when it came to the login screen with the password for the safe mode, I am entering my Microsoft account password which doesn't seem to work because it's not connected to any network. So I looked up for the methods to pass this problem which led me to go through troubleshoot and restart, and then selecting the option 5 " Enable safe mode with networking". It doesn't work either. It's not connecting to my network. Plus to add things up, I use ethernet for my connection. I use a desktop. I need to get it fixed asap cause i don't want to affect my ongoing projects which I'm working on.

Password not accepted in Safe mode

Have you tried all the above steps suggested by Sangeeta Sarkar on September 13, 2015.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you trying to login the Microsoft account or the Local account in safe mode?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking.

• 
  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.

Window 10 unable to login with normal and safe mode with correct password

Hi Team,

Today i stuck to login on windows 10 with correct password, i follow same on safe mode but it does not work.

I tried with safe mode with Network but no luck.. Below steps i followed for safe mode...

Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> Startup Settings> Restart>Safe Mode with Networking.O

Here i re-enter the password and it doesn't work.

Please suggest...

 

Passwords not accepted in Safe Mode login

I upgraded to Windows 10 several months ago on my Dell laptop, and yesterday began encountering the "Start Menu Critical Error" problem. I began following the instructions in the Dell Knowledge Base article http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN299201

I followed Method 1 to enter Safe Mode with Networking and restarted. The login will not accept any password. I tried my Microsoft Account password and my 4-digit PIN and also reset my Microsoft password via my iPhone. I've used the laptop's keyboard
and the on-screen keyboard. I read on a Microsoft forum that Safe Mode does not work with wifi, so I turned off wifi and connected an Ethernet cable from the laptop to the router. Nothing will work. I can not successfully login in safe mode to return to
normal mode.

Any suggestions?
