Windows 10: Stuck Getting Devices Ready when installing window 10 on DELL

Dear community,


I met the issue when installing windows 10,

Step 1 : I used USB to install window 10 on my laptop

Step 2 : After finishing, My laptop inform to restart

Step 3 : When go to Getting Device Ready step, the processing was not responding anymore like my screenshot.





I try to reinstall many times but i still got this problem. Please help me resolve this, many thanks.

Computer stuck at getting windows ready

Hi,

For us to effectively assist you, may we ask if you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?

Have you tried any possible troubleshooting steps? If yes, what are those steps? This is to avoid repeating of the possible steps done.

If Windows 10 install gets stuck on the message "Getting Windows ready", it is possible that the internet connection might be running slow. Kindly ensure that your internet connection can suffice the download during the update. The other thing would be a conflict
from external devices. We suggest temporarily disconnect all peripherals aside from mouse and keyboard.

Dell Brings Windows 10 to Customers First
As announced in mid-June, Dell was among the first to offer Windows 10 preloaded systems for pre-sales. In North America those orders will start shipping today with free next-day delivery. In addition to the U.S. and Canada, customers have been able to pre-order systems in China as of July 20, and the United Kingdom beginning on July 22. Customers in Brazil can start ordering systems on July 29.

Retail customers in the U.S. have had the opportunity to purchase Windows 10 devices on QVC since July 14, and will be able to purchase systems from other leading retailers, including Best Buy, Microcenter and Staples, starting tomorrow.
