  1. Stuck in Auto Repair Mode and No Disk Space after Windows 10 Update

Hi Any help would be hugely appreciated. After a Windows 10 Update on my son's PC, it started working really slowly and glitching so he restarted it and it went into Automatic Repair Mode. It seems to be stuck in this mode now.We have tried to Uninstall Updates, System Restore, Start Up Repair and we have watched tutorials on these too. We also tried Reset this PC, but for all of these it says There was a problem and we can't change anything. Before it got stuck in the Auto Repair loop he checked and had no disk space, which is obviously a big part of the problem. However we can't delete anyt

  2. Stuck in auto repair loop

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

If the screen is stuck for a long time on auto repair, I suggest you to restart the computer using power button and check. If the issue still persist, I suggest you to check if you are able to boot the computer into Safe Mode environment and check.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps:

    • Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

    • Select an option to “Safe mode with networking” using the arrow keys on the keyboard when the Windows Advanced Options menu
      appears, and then press ENTER.

Hope this information is helpful. Do let us know if your issue is resolved. For any further query, feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.

  3. Disk bloat in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Is it my imagination, or does the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update consume an additional 20-30GB of disk space over the previous Creators Update release? Unfortunately, I didn't log my disk usage before the upgrade, but now my C: drive has 56GB of stuff, and I know it wasn't anywhere near that full before. I've run "Disk Cleanup -> Clean up system files" and selected everything on the list, including remove previous version of Windows. I also emptied my Recycle Bin, my Temp folder, \Windows\Temp folder, and \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder. Finally, I ran Wise Disk Cleaner to delete assorted application garbage.

Has anyone else noticed the bloat in Fall Creators Update?
