Windows 10: Stuck in BIOS. Can't find disk in command prompt

Hello,I'll explain my situation a bit. A friend of mine installed windows 11 for me because i bought a new m.2 ssd. we downloaded windows on it and it worked fine. i plugged in my other 2 old disks to start transferring my data to my new disk. One of these old disks still had some windows files on it this might matter? no clue after transferring all my data and formatting my 2 old disks i turned off the pc and removed both disks and started the pc. It went straight to bios and in the bios it sees my disk but did not see it as a bootable drive.Now me and my friend tried fixing the problem and

command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

 

Stuck in Command Prompt

I wanted to run this command 'bootrec /fixmbr'

I did the follwing steps:

Choose a option - Troubleshoot - Advanced options - Command Prompt



I did all the steps until Command Prompt, at Command Prompt I got this error message “ You need to sign in as…….but there aren’t any administrator account on this pc”. The laptop is stuck at this step. I restarted it a few times and it turned on in command
prompt.

I found this on Microsoft community but for me it didn't work. I did the first step and it turned on directly in command prompt.

Follow the below steps:-

1) Press Shift and Restart from the power icon (together)

2) Select Troubleshoot.

3) Go to Advanced Options.

4) Select Command Prompt.

5) Type "net user Administrator /active:yes"

6) Hit Enter.



How can I fix this in order to use my laptop?

Installation media boots to command prompt

I've just booted from known working install media to see exactly what it does when booting. The sequence of events is...

1. Windows logo on a black screen
2. circling dots appear beneath the logo
3. light blue 'Please wait' screen with circling dots
4. a command prompt window (very briefly)
5. the initial Setup page appears

Do you see steps 1-3? If so, it appears you have stopped at step 4, suggesting that something on the disc cannot be read.

Does the disc boot properly in another machine? If so, try cleaning the laptop's drive lens then try booting from the disc again.

If not, make new install media with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, either as a bootable USB, on an ISO that you can burn to another disc. At Step 8 in Option One of this tutorial you can choose between making a USB or an ISO.
