Windows 10: Stuck in BSOD loop after motherboard removed

My wife's CPU fan wasn't working well so we replaced it. Now her computer's stuck in an infinite BSOD loop. I've seen CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, kernel security check failure, kernel mode heap corruption (she thinks, I didn't see that one), attempted write to read-only memory, and a few others.

She has two disk drives: a 250GB SSD and a 1GB HDD. Windows is on the SSD and her user folders and such are on the HDD. We've tried every combination of plugging the SATA cables in and none of them work. (Mobo manual here: GA-H97-D3H (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.S.A. .) Currently, we have the SSD plugged into SATA 0 and the HDD plugged into SATA 1. (For all the good it's doing.)

On the BIOS I have options for her SSD and for Windows Boot Manager (on her SSD). Neither work, but the latter sometimes gets her to the Windows login screen before a BSOD.

Windows Startup Repair wasn't working, either. I tried running SFC /scannow, and it failed.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure how to get the DMP file since the system won't boot. Maybe using the command prompt on the startup repair?

I tried making a Windows 10 USB drive, and while the installer said that it correctly set up the flash drive, when I booted the system from it, I got an orange screen with white stripes on it and one time a sky blue screen before the computer just shut itself off.

As per the information that you have provided, I suggest that you perform Power Drain as you are stuck in a loop and this might help you access the desktop screen. To learn how to perform this follow the steps below

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power
  cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system
