    Stuck in endless loop setting up brand new pc


    I have a brand new pc that came with windows 11 installed. As I’m going through the pc set up wizard theres a prompt to create a pin….. its a blank screen and it contains a button at the bottom that reads create pin. When i click create pin I’m met with an endless loader….. not sure what to do here…

When i click create pin I’m met with an endless loader….. not sure what to do here…

    There’s literally no inputs or anything and if you hit create pin (I’ve restarted and done this 5 times now) it just spins forever. What is going on?!!!!

    In order to help you with your concern about your PC which is stuck in endless loop, kindly answer the following questions first:

    • What are the options that you see under Options and boot options? If you can, please post here a screen shot.
    • Was there a new hardware installed?
    • Were there new apps installed?
    • Have you done any recent driver updates?
    • What is the current build and version of your Windows 10?
    • What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?

    Stuck in endless loop setting up brand new pc

    Brand new windows 10 PC w/all updates installed, cannot access Windows Security, get erroneous error msg & endless loop

    Brand new Windows 10 Pro PC (Intel NUC), all updates installed. Control Panel > Windows Security > Open Windows Security gives you erroneous error message "You'll need a new app to open this WindowsDefender one word) ..." links to No App found in MS Store,
    manually search for Windows Defender (two words) lists the app first in the list with option to [Open app] but instead of opening the app Microsoft sends you back to the error message above. Endless loop, searching google shows many of people with identical
    problem over the last 6 months. None of the suggested fixes work.
