    Stuck in Endless Recovery - Error Code 0xc0000098


    Stuck in the recovery screen. Won't allow any recovery environment, won't allow Start Up settings. Will allow going to UEFI firmware settings. I have tried to prioritize starting from my backup external USB, I've created a USB with recovery for EFI as well. The backup copy of start up disk won't get acknowledged. The USB recovery EFI bypasses the recovery screen but go to blue screen right after and gets stuck in an endless restart process.I've tried countless restarts, tried starting in safety mode. Nothing seems to work. Most times when the options are laid out for recovery the screen just f

    I’m stuck on error code 0xc0000098

    I have error code 0xc0000098 and can’t get out

    Basically my computer has error code 0xc0000098 and the boot letter is missing so it basically says File:\BCD where it’s supported to say Boot/BCD so I cannot access recovery environment because whenever I press F1 it’s just a black screen and then goes back to the blue screen and the only bootable drive I have is a USB (my computer does not have a drive to put a disk in), is there anything I can do to fix it

    I did receive an answer to this issue before to use another PC to download a bootable media to my computer but the only problem was that I don’t have another PC to use on it so I am kind of stuck on this screen

    Hi,

    The the 0xc0000098 error can appear due to a corrupted BCD (Boot Configuration Data) file. This can be due to a change in the hardware. There is also a possibility that Windows files or the hard drive was damaged on some cases. In this case, we suggest to boot
    from windows 10 installation disc and kindly follow the steps provided by
