Windows 10: Stuck in getting updates 15 % while using media creation tool

I tried cloud resetting my laptop version windows 10pro 20hz 64 bits but unfortunately the power supply was terminated. After that i swich on my laptop then it did undo changes and then the laptop slowed down drastically it now takes almost 20-25 minutes to start and the performance , what to say about it . I searched online and i read on the Microsoft community that the media creation tool will help and I tried it but now i stuck in checking updates 15% . It’s been now four hrs. Please help .

media creation tool stuck?

So i am using the media creation tool to install windows 10, and it asks me if i want to upgrade this PC and i click next. It just gets stuck with a little rotating circle and i have attempted the process over 5 times. after 15 minutes of it not doing anything
i end the task and restart. It does not even show me any progress, just the little circle. Can anyone help?
