Windows 10: stuck in kiosk mode. CANNOT access settings.

laptop stuck on "public" kiosk mode for windows 10, Microsoft edge is the only app/browser to be accessed. again. I cannot access settings. I cannot access settings. I cannot access settings. ive been having this issue for daYS with no help. again. I cannot access settings.

The references you provided are helpful once you can get into settings. The problem I'm having is that I'm stuck in kiosk mode and cannot switch out to another user to view other settings and functions. I'm looking for a way to force a switch to another
user or a way to stop restart from automatically launching in kiosk mode. Is there a way to switch user from safe mode or some startup config upon restart?

You can exit Assigned access by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys.

Option 2 in the tutorial below can help show you step by step on how to remove a Kiosk account for Assigned Access to permanently exit Kiosk mode.

Stuck in kiosk mode

Unfortunately, I can't check the settings (as I'm locked out) but I setup kiosk mode from the user settings in windows 10, and then configured "assigned access" so it would launch only one app when in kiosk mode.

Then I signed out of my AD account (with admin access) and signed into the kiosk account. Since then I have not been able to switch to any other user, as the switch user option does not appear on the lock screen.
