Windows 10: Stuck in PXE Boot screen and no operating system found and pc dont want to boot in bios.

I have the Lenovo thinkpad egde e320

TYPE 1298-A6G S/N LR-6CEP3 12/01

PRODUCT ID: 1298A6G



So, i switched in the bios settings the boot mode from "both" to "only legacy" and from then my pc boots only network PXE but it cant logically and it shows me "no operating system found"



And i tried everything to get in the bios again to change it back, but it didnt work.



At the start, it says at the corner of the screen that the bios settings were loading, but then the next display is network booting PXE.



And yes, "both" as boot mode in the bios is working fine, but i cant get in the bios to change it back. Please help



Ps. Preparing boot device list is also shown but still boots in the PXE mode and so on.

Can't PXE boot

I am trying to find out why some PC's boot and others don't. The ones that don't give me a 53 error, no boot filename received. I can take another PC and plug it into the port that the PC was in that will not boot and that PC will PXE boot. These PC's are different models and the one that doesn't work may be older, but has the PXE option in the BIOS. Could it be that you have to have different boot images on the server? If you do, are these boot images based on the NIC type? If I need to create other boot images how do I create them?

Hi Sandcloud, that PXE-M0F error indicates your system is trying to boot from a network drive . . .

When your system starts, repeatedly press F2 to Enter BIOS

Change the boot order list so that your Hard Drive is top of the Boot list

Press F10 to save these settings change

Restart your system and see if the change sticks

If it does not, you might need to replace the CMOS battery

 

PXE BOOT and Defrag

Is it possible to PXE BOOT Defrag Windows XP Pro over the network? At work we have a TON of XP Pro machines we use and they are slow as a coffin in a grave due to fragmentation.
The IT dept can not get to them as it is a 2-3 man crew. Is it possible to PXE Boot to initiate a defrag over the network to all the PCs? The management wont let them install other tools.
