    Stuck in Windows 10 S Mode


    My new laptop is stuck in Windows 10 S mode. I followed steps online, restarted the laptop, completed all updates but nothing works.

    It has been stuck for a while now and nothing seems to resolve the issue. I keep going back to Microsoft store to switch and when I click 'get' I always get the message 'Try again later. Something happened on our end'.


    I got this laptop a week ago and I managed to download word, excel etc. and I have been using them but then this happened out of the blue. Please let me know what I can do as soon as possible.

    Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

    Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
      keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

    Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

    Do you mean that it's stuck in Safe Mode with Command Prompt like below?

    If so, then you could pick up at step 2 in OPTION THREE of the tutorial below to boot back to normal mode with Windows 10.
