Windows 10: Stuck indefinetely when downloading: New windows 10 file, Microsoft Store game, battle.net...

Error: 0x80d02002 when it gave up downloading from the microsoft store.


I have tried finding the right solution for this over the span of 1.5 years now, and it appears to be windows related.


Downloading just doesn't work on some apps, and I have the suspicion that Windows is not updating properly, even though it says it has.


I have tried so many different things.. I have been with Microsoft support once before, blizzard support two times, both super long threads of troubleshooting to no avail, and have been answered on Reddit at some point too about this, I think. Still no fixes. The tickets from blizzard aren't public, I think, so I can't really show them without adding like an additional article of text that would just be a clutter. Instead, ask me if I have tried something and I will answer, I guess.


Any solutions? I don't expect any at this point.

• Do you receive any error message or code when you try to play the games or download games from Windows Store?
• What happen when you try to play the Microsoft Solitaire collection games?
• Do you face issue only while downloading games or even other apps from Windows Store?

Note: Basic information on Apps

• UAC (User Account Control) must be enabled.
  
• To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least
  1024 x 768.
• To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least
  1366 x 768.
• Make sure video card driver is updated.
• Make sure that Date and Time in your device is correct and up-to date.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: Try clearing the Store Cache:
