  1. Stuck/Missed Keystrokes Using External Keyboard with Windows driver

For about the past month, I have had issues where keystrokes are randomly missed or duplicated 5-10 times in quick succession. The problem improved but then returned after a Windows 10 update and has gotten worse. The keyboard is external and connected via USB. It uses the standard Windows keyboard drivers. I have tried plugging into a new port, uninstalled & reinstalled in Device Manager, and even bought a new keyboard. None has solved this issue. I do not think it is an Accessibility setting because it was working fine when I initially got this computer earlier this year.Any other

  2. Microsoft keyboard missing keystrokes

I have tried 2 different microsoft keyboards on 2 different WIN 10 laptops (with Win 10 recently updated), they are both missing keystrokes now, I believe due to the Windows 10 update. A cheap Amazon basics keyboard from my husband's compute works, but not
any of my microsoft keyboards!!! I need microsoft external keyboard for laptop that do not miss keystrokes, I've tried device manager-update drivers, opening mouse & keyboard center, unplugging & replugging, wired USB Microsoft & a wireless (with stick) keyboard,
new batteries, no success with any of these attempts. When is Microsoft going to fix this issue in their update? or send out driver updates to all their keyboard to sync with the new Win 10?

  4. Stuck/Missed Keystrokes Using External Keyboard with Windows driver

Keyboard stops working after recording one keystroke

I've tried two different corded USB keyboards now on my Desktop and both gave the same problem leading me to believe this has something to do with Windows 10 or my actual computer.

The keyboards were recognized and named correctly in "Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other devices", and listed on device manager as "HID Keyboard devices". However, the problem I'm getting is that after plugging in the keyboard and clicking in a field that
allows me to type I can press a key and it will record that one keystroke, but afterwards it will completely stop recording anymore. I can repeat this over and over by unplugging and reconnecting the keyboard, each time only allowing one keystroke to be recorded.

Would anyone have a suggestion for how to go about troubleshooting this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting, downloading new drivers, all with no luck and I'm running out of ideas.

    Thanks so much in advance.
