Windows 10: Stuck on bitlocker recovery screen and do not remember email username or password !

Hello, on a completely new laptop, I created a new email to log in then didn't use this laptop for a while. I forgot the username and password. When I tried logging in incorrectly a number of times, I tried to factory reset the pc.After clicking troubleshoot > reset this pc > remove everything, i don't get a chance to pick local reinstall but the screen shows in a blink then I get a screen saying "There was a problem resetting your PC." with only a Cancel option.I cannot reach the login screen anymore, I keep getting the bitlocker screen which I believe I cannot retrieve without remember

Email clients not remembering passwords

Hi all

A friends computer will not remember his gmail password. He used to use outlook, and seeing that I use thunderbird and it would be easier to troubleshoot I installed that for him. Now that was working for a few weeks, and now the same problem is occuring.

We are 100% sure the password is correct, as we can access the email account through webmail, but the local clients will not remember the correct password. Of course the 'Remember password' button is checked, but still no good.

It returns with incorrect password.

Any suggestions?

 

Bitlock recovery to reset password

7. In the Command Prompt, type the following command to reset the password for the local user account: net user [username] [newpassword], where [username] is the name of the locked account and [newpassword] is the new password you want to use.
   
8. Restart your PC and sign in with the new password.

Bitlocker Stuck Decrypting

@rinconmike For future reference, instead of using the TASK MANAGER to restart, you can simply hold CTRL + SHIFT and right click on blank space on the Task bar, to bring up 'Exit Explorer'. Another option is to use software.
