Windows 10: Stuck on boot screen after update: "Customizing features for you. You are 98% there."

Got a new Computer, set it up with win11, and it autoupdated yesterday. It did not finish and got stuck on the boot screen: "Customizing features for you. You're 98% there. Please keep your computer on."I restarted a couple of times, but it always ends up there. When restarting, the listed progress percentage starts at 0, goes to 35%, 96%, then ends/gets stuck at 98%.

To understand the issue better, I would like to ask some questions:

• Is the computer stuck in the Installing updates screen?
• For how long is the computer stuck in the screen?
• When was the computer last updated?
• Is the screen showing any percentage of installation?

Sometimes the installation might take a long time to install if the update is of large size. So, I suggest you to wait for sometime and check if the system boots to the desktop. If it is taking a longer time, then perform a Power Drain by following the steps
provided below:

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.

Stuck on Yellow Boot Screen

• Which was the latest update you tried to update your system?
• What is the make and model of you PC/Laptop?
• Are you able to get into Desktop screen after waiting for long time?
• What happens when you force shutdown and restart the machine?

I know it's a different model, but it might work.

Other suggestions:

1. Boot into the BIOS and reset it.
   
2. Update your BIOS from the official Dell site.
