Windows 10: Stuck on getting device started…

I have been working with a Toshiba satellite running 8.1. When I started with the machine it was behind on updates and running 4 GB RAM. I attempted to upgrade to windows 10 with media tool. Device gets stuck at getting device ready. It will freeze at 33% , 66% or just getting device ready. I have upgraded RAM to 8 GB reduced back to 4 GB . Changed out to new hard drive still no change.

is it possible to hand build a motherboard?

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:

Have you tried updating the driver for the HID-compliant mouse?

Follow these steps on how to update the driver:

• Follow the instructions to update the driver.

If that does not work, we suggest you contact the manufacturer of your laptop directly and ask for updated drivers for Windows 10.
