    Stuck on keyboard layout when trying to wipe Windows 10 PC


    I am stuck on a screen that requests that I choose my keyboard layout while trying to wipe my Windows 10 PC for recycling. I am unable to select a keyboard layout on this screen. I am assuming because on drivers are loaded.


    I need to get this wiped so that I can safely recycle this old machine.

    Trying to reset PC - Stuck on Choose Keyboard Layout screen


    I'm trying to reset my PC to get out a temporary user profile I'm stuck on. Every time I start the reset process, I am sent to a frozen Choose Keyboard Layout screen. I can't use my mouse or touchscreen to choose a layout. Can anyone please help me with this?

    Stuck on keyboard layout when trying to wipe Windows 10 PC

    Stuck in “choose keyboard layout” loop

    My Acer laptop running Windows 10 is stuck in a choose keyboard layout loop.

    Every time I select the US keyboard the laptop just shuts down and reboots.

    It then comes back to the Choose keyboard layout page.

    Is there a way to fix this that doesn't involve a whole lot of complicated steps?
