Windows 10: Stuck on Windows screen, no mouse or keyboard

So it's on my computer and it kept kicking me off of Google Chrome and a message would appear stating to close apps, restart, shut down, etc.. It was like a drop down menu. it was almost like my keyboard was pressing several keys at a time without me touching it. I hit cancel hoping that it is would ignore it. Then it completely froze up so I had to hold the power button down. I rebooted it and my welcome screen comes up with the clock and the date and then in the right-hand corner it's my internet and then showing it's on battery power. But it does not show the power button in the right-hand corner like it normally does or any of the icons that I have set up to manually cone up.. I can normally hit the spacebar and the screen goes up words and allows me to log in with my 4-Digit pin. However it appears that my keyboard nor my mouse is working at all. I tried to get online and do some research and I found a video that says to do hard reset three times and it will take you into automatic repair in which it did. But due to the fact that my mouse or my keyboard is not working at all. I am unable to select Advanced options. And I also seen you can hit shift or control and right click the power button. But I'm not able to click or type anything. I don't understand why this is happening out of no where. if you could please please help me this is the second Dell Latitude I've had and I'm so serious about removing windows and timely and going to another platform. this makes the second computer with similar issues in a year.

Issues with the On screen keyboard and mouse pointer.

The issues with the mouse may arise due to driver conflicts and the issue related to the On Screen keyboard may be when the settings for the OSK are turned on.

For the On screen keyboard issue, I suggest you to follow the below steps.

  Type Ease of Access on the search bar.
  
• 
  Choose Ease of Access and click on
  Use the Computer without a mouse or keyboard option.
  
• 
  Check if the Type using a pointing device is turned on.
  
• 
  You may uncheck that option if it is turned on.
  

Also try the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + R and type
  Services.msc.
  
• 
  Scroll down to find the "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service".
  
• 
  Disable the option by right clicking on it.
  

For the Mouse issue:

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Hardware
and Devices.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

6. Check if issue persists.

Unresponsive Mouse and Keyboard in Windows 10
