Windows 10: Stuck on Windows To Go mode, even though OS is on HDD

I am trying to wipe everything on my HDD and keep the OS so I can start clean and get the bare essentials and effectively get rid of all the useless programs I have acquired in one fell swoop, but after copying my OS to an SSD and moving my games and other important files over to it using a SATA to USB connector, my computer seems to think I've booted windows up from a USB, and is now stuck in Windows To Go mode.


I tried using another tutorial that was for Windows 8, where I go and disable the ability for my computer to boot into Windows To Go mode, but it didn't work after restarting my computer and attempting a reset once more.


My HDD, which I booted up with, is connected via SATA directly to my motherboard, so I'm not really sure why I'm stuck in Windows To Go mode, and I would really like to get out of it because my computer is significantly slower than it could be if I were to have a clean and empty drive.


Anyone have anything I could use to get out of Windows To Go mode?

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

 

Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10  


I am stuck in Safe Mode in spite of following all the suggested steps to go back to Normal Startup - Like opening file location of msconfig.exe & running as Administrator. The computer I am trying to get out of safe mode has just been updated from Windows 7.
