    Just to start Please speak in lamens terms cuz im not very smart with computers, but im currently stuck on windows version 1607 (OS Build 14393.1480). I'm running win 10 pro. I tried downloading the standalone installers and it just says they are not available for me. Please help.

    Tried everything!

    Still cannot update Window 10. Stuck on version 1607, from July. Should be version 1709. Please help.

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3194496) fixed the problem

    Download 1703 iso from MS, double click on it and run setup.exe.

    It was not clear from your post:
    If you have a choice would you like to upgrade to windows 10 version 1703?
    If you want the most up to date version you can download the free windows 10 iso which should upgrade your operating system from 1607 to 1703. Then when 1703 is installed it will perform updates to the latest build.
    To see the windows version and build on your computer at any time: type winver in the left lower corner search and view the pop up: About Windows
