Windows 10: STUCK - Windows Search - "We're getting things ready"

    STUCK - Windows Search - "We're getting things ready"


    Hi folks. My Windows 10 clean install will not get search right. It still thinks it's setting it up....for 3 weeks. I've tried deleting and rebuilding the index multiple times but it will never complete. Any help? Thanks.

    Indexing does not seem to be working after Windows 10 upgrade?

    I'm having this problem too. Installed Win 10 on 3 computers. My main computer is stuck with "We're getting search ready" and the search results are useless. I can't even get a match if I search for "Device Manager". This is a major issue and we need to
    find a fix.
