Windows 10: Students can't edit a text box in Word from Teams.

I'm using Teams to provide continuation of learning for my students. When I create a Word document that uses a text box, my students are unable to edit within the box, but they can outside the box. Why? How do I make it so that they can?

Predictive text (normal vs word suggestions)

Which Nokia phone will give me word suggestion? I don''t particularly want a very sophisticated phone with camera, internet etc. All I want is to speak and text, but with word suggestion, completing the words for me, not only the basic predictive text.
Can someone please suggest a phone that actually does that instead of only claiming to do it? (And what's the law on misleading claims? W.S. is listed in the functions!)

Editing text instead of highlighting a word.

How do I edit text? If I try to move the curser to the middle of a word it just highlights the word?

On my old phone I could precisely choose where to put the curser and change letters on any word I've typed, on the windows phone if I click anywhere on the word it just gets highlighted and I cant edit it other than deleting or choosing a suggested word.

Its pretty annoying that the phone does not allow me to edit as I go along.

Any ideas/

Is there any way to, or any plans to allow text box viewing/editing in the word program.

this seems like a basic item in microsofts own program, and a feature that third party software seems to be able to add with no problems.
