Windows 10: Stupid mistake

Bought my wife a laptop, and when registering it for her, I entered an email address she doesn't have access to. Gmail vrs Hotmail kind of mistake. So unable to get pin emailed to address to fix it to the right one. Cana anyone help?

You might be old, but stupid? I see no evidence for that.

Run your app with Administrator permissions:

• right-click on the app
• select 'Run as administrator'
• enter the password for an Administrator account when prompted.

 

Is there any way that I can bypass the password requirement when it is in the 'lockscreen' mode?

Stupid memory upgrade question

I'd say your results are indicating 16GB max for the mobo. *Smile

16,777,216kb = 16GB

16GB/2= 8GB/slot


Mine shows the following for 32GB max;

C:\WINDOWS\system32>wmic memphysical get maxcapacity
MaxCapacity33554432


I've found information that suggests the wmic facility may not be the best source. As previously mentioned, the mobo manufacturers site is likely best as they will have tested the PC and it's memory capacity.
