Windows 10: Stuttering on windows 10/11 with all Nvidia drivers?

For 9 months I couldn't enjoy my time with rtx 3080 because of 1 big problem Stuttering!What I did is let windows 10 install all updates and drivers then installed driver chipset from motherboard website .when I start gaming the screen feels choppy and unsmooth.I tried to install and test 10 version of NVidia driver from windows 10/11 default NVIDIA Version 471.41 to the last last 512.15-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql driver.still same feeling all games feels choppy on Alienware 240 hz monitor Is there any fix from windows teams.CPU: Intel 10850kGPU: MSI sea hawk rtx3080lhrS

Audio driver conflict causing stuttering?

Hi Techhelper89,

Unfortunately, I did the instructions as mentioned in the thread and the stuttering persists. I used the link provided: and the steps requested

I also tried reinstalling the Realtek Audio drivers as suggested by the thread to no avail.

I've also added some links of how the stuttering looks and sounds like to the main post of this thread. I hope it helps identify the issue.

One more thing I noticed after the above steps is that I can boot with Nvidia HD Audio drivers disabled but the stuttering persist. Enabling then disabling "cures" the stuttering for a while. Although, when this is happening while the Nvidia Audio drivers are
disabled (as there is an enable option) the icon doesn't look like one that is normally disabled (with a small circular arrow down icon).

Windows 10 nVidia Driver Question

With the Nov Update, Windows 10 became mature enough to give another try. Build 10586 (version 1511) runs great, feels snappy, and has no obvious problems. However, I'm concerned with this version's insistence on loading nVidia's 353.54 driver, which is dated July 13 2015, 4 months ago. On their US website they list all the new drivers as being compatible with Windows 10, (such as 358.91), but they won't load (installer says incompatible with this version of Windows, could find no compatible hardware...). The 353.54 driver runs games without any problems, but why is it taking so long to for nVidia to update this driver? Is it my 780 Ti that's incompatible or is it Windows 10?

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
