Windows 10: Stuttering with static audio when gaming

I've had this problem before however its been fixed by the help of someone else The steps I currently took to resolve this wereower Plan OptionsDisabled other programs in the background that potentially hindered my performanceChanged Nitro-sense AC and power to high performance I have a acer nitro 5 laptopUpdated my display adapters from device manager Changed my gaming graphical settings Performed a clean boot Once actually starting out a game it happens after a couple minutes in the game then it slowly becomes prevalent , if I continue on it shows much more. How exactly do I know becaus

Audio stuttering after wake

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:



1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Expand the “System devices” category.
  
• Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
  
• If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
  

2. Test with External Audio Device:

• Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
  
• If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
  

3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

• Go to Control Panel > Sound.
  
• Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
  
• Click on the “Properties” button.
  
• Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
  
• Uncheck all the enhancement options.
  

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.

Static/Stuttering with audio

Thanks for replying to us with the status of your issue.

This might occur if the audio driver is not updated properly. I suggest you to update the audio driver and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps.

1) Press
Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.

2) Select Device Manager.

3) Expand Sound video and games Controller.

4) Right on the audio drivers and click on
Update driver software.

Static/Stuttering with audio

Hi Nachappa,

I have found the problem but not the fix. It seems when I disable my Asus Wireless-N300 PCI Express adaptor the sound works fine no static or stuttering. Would you have any idea on how to fix as I need this wireless adaptor to access the internet?
