Windows 10: Stylus touch lag 1cm from starting point Windows 10

Hi, when I touch anywhere on my screen there is a circle indicating a touch point and yes I know I can turn it off. When I am drawing with a stylus on the screen on whiteboard, word, pdf annotator, etc there is a delay where a line will not appear until I have moved my point touch 1cm away from the starting point. This means I literally cannot make small circles or shapes or letters. Particularly frustrating is in whiteboard where to dot the end of a sentence it always triggers a right click.I am testing a few different stylus and they work well enough on my phone but are awful with windows.

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite Click 10 tablet which runs Windows 10 home. I am looking to purchase a fine point stylus with USB charging capability (similar to this one Amazon.com: Stylus Pen, BoxWave® [AccuPoint Active Stylus] Electronic Stylus with Ultra Fine Tip for Smartphones and Tablets - Jet Black: Electronics).

I don't need pressure sensitivity, it is for making very simple diagrams and highlighting text in some applications. It is an item I envisage using maybe once or twice a week. I don't want one that has a plastic disk on the end.

I noticed quite a few have a battery that only last 12 hours so looking for something which is rechargeable.

My budget is "as little as possible" but could realistically extend to the ~US$50 mark.

Does anyone have experience with a stylus that they can recommend?

Any thoughts/suggestions greatly appreciated.

What is the make and model of the external monitor and stylus?

I suggest you follow below methods and check if that helps.

Method 1:
Update touchscreen drivers for your computer. Refer the following article to

update touchscreen drivers.

Method 2: Reinstall touchscreen drivers. Follow the below steps to reinstall touchscreen drivers.

Steps:-

1. Select the search box in the taskbar, enter device manager, and then select
   Device Manager in the results.
2. Select the arrow to the left of Human Interface Devices.
3. Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, and then select
   Uninstall.
4. Restart your computer.

My touchscreen is a Planar 22 inch display, and I use an HDMI cable. The touch part is done using a USB 3.0 cable.
