Windows 10: subfolders with a mix of characters and numbers

Discus and support subfolders with a mix of characters and numbers in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I noticed there are some subfolders under different programs folders and sometimes on program data.I am wondering what is the purpose of those...     I noticed there are some subfolders under different programs folders and sometimes on program data.I am wondering what is the purpose of those subfolders and if I can delete them please?

    Almost identical numbers get mixed up when called

    Hello hpholm,

    I have tried the steps you suggested- the international assist was off to begin with. The number are + xxxx.

    In my contact list the numbers/names are correct. The problem occurs when I dial.

    Thank you for the tips, hpholm, my issue remains unsolved.

    • What is the model number of the Windows Mixed Reality HP device?
    • Did you check the Windows Mixed Reality
      HP on a different computer?
    • Are you aware of any changes in the PC prior to this issue?

    However, we would suggest you to perform these methods and check if the issue persists.

    Method 1: Troubleshoot

    Method 2: New user account

    This issue may be due to a profile corruption. Hence, in order to eliminate possibilities, we would suggest you to create a new user account and check. Follow the steps from the article

    Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10     to create a new user account.

    "Chinese Characters" program delaying shutdown - a different approach.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

    • As you have mentioned this happens only in the Admin account, is it local account set as admin account or the Microsoft account?
    I would suggest you to check the all apps list and check if that Chinese character app is present.

    After you try the above steps and share us the results what happens we can proceed with the further suggestions.

    Please post us back with the results after troubleshooting the above steps and check.
