Windows 10: SubInACL Installation Error

Hey Guys,

I can't install SubInACL in my windows 10 due to an error saying that "the system cannot open the device or or file specified". So please help.

I need a permissions GURU, I want a folder GONE forever.

Ok...so I gave that a shot, it runs the reg edit, and still, I am not able to move, delete, or overwrite those files..

I also tried to run a batchfile with this command to reset permissions, and that didn't seem to work either

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=f

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=f

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=administrators=f

subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=administrators=f

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=system=f

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=system=f

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=system=f

subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=system=f

I installed steam to another location, and now the new steam folder is locked and won't let me import the old content over...so I'm stuck with an existing steam library that I don't have permission to delete, and I'll end up building a new steam library
and wasting space and can't delete either one of them..hmm...

 

Windows upgrade

I am unable to upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I always get the Error 80070005 even after running Microsoft's Resolution installing the SubinACL tool and running the given script.
