Windows 10: Subject: Issue with USB-C Devices Not Connecting After Recent Windows Update

After updating Windows, I've noticed that certain USB-C devices no longer connect to my system. While these devices are recognized and appear in the Bluetooth and devices menu in Settings, they are conspicuously absent from my Device Manager. This issue has persisted despite my efforts to resolve it, which have included: Updating my device drivers to the latest versions available. Uninstalling and reinstalling my USB drivers. Attempting to uninstall and reinstall the latest Windows updates. However, I encountered an issue with one specific update KB5034765, which fails to uninstall despite

• Do you get any error messages?
• Did you make any recent changes on the computer prior to this issue?

This issue could have occurred due to corrupt or incompatible driver.

Method 1:

Let's first run hardware troubleshooter and check.



a) Press Windows Key.

b) Type “Troubleshooting “in the search box and hit
enter.

c) Click on Hardware and sound.

d) Click on Hardware and device and follow the on-screen instructions.



Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install chipset driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.
