Windows 10: Subtle black horizontal lines on my screen

I’ve noticed those subtle black horizontal lines going across my screen, one starts darker from the left and as it goes to the other side of my screen it fades. It’s the same with the other lines but the opposite way. The weird thing is when i change the refresh rate from 144Hz to lets say 60Hz the position of the lines change. I tried a couple of things to fix it like changing cable and restarting my settings on the monitor but nothing seemed to work. Is there something i could do to try and fix it?As seen on the picture there is a line in the middle and very close to the top of the monitor.T

Thanks for replying, actually the problem is a black single horizontal line, not a black screen.

Without you having posted a screenshot of it, it may point to either corrupted graphics drivers or a possible failing hardware part.

We don't know if the horizontal black line is at the top, bottom, middle or where on the screen or the thickness of it or anything else about it.

the line is fine, straight, black, horizontal, black and about 6cm long. It is situated 3cm from the bottom of the screen, and just to the right of centre. I have tried to take a screen shot of it but when I paste to Word it does not appear on the image.
