  1. Sudden and unexpected BSOD on Win10

    Hello all,

I have a self-built CP with above average specs running Win10.
Every once in a while I'll get a BSOD when I'm not necessarily doing
    anything in particular.
I thought I'd try using a few of the debugging tools to figure out
the problem, but sadly they don't seem to work on Win10.
At any rate, I'd like to find out how to fix the BSODs, so I'd truly
    appreciate any advice.

    Cheers,

    SocAbd

    :)

  2. Unexpected Store Exception

This started around two months back. All of a sudden my pc runs into the "Unexpected Store Exception" BSoD. Is there anyone who was able to work around this BSoD?

    My System:

    Toshiba Satellite C850 Series C850-0G5 (PSCBWA-0G5001)

RAM: 4 GB (8 GB Committed)

Windows 10 Pro, Version 1703, OS Build: 15063.502

Is there any possibility the RAM is causing this issue?

    Experts, need your help!

  3. BSOD Win10. Unexpected Store and Critical_Process

    Hi,

    Troubleshoot blue screen errors

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors

We can analyze the minidumps if you make them available from the OneDrive

    or other file
sharing sites (such as MediaFire). If you have problems uploading

the minidumps copy them to the Desktop or the Documents folder and upload

    them from there.

    Adding files to your OneDrive

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/getting-started-onedrive-tutorial

    Upload photos and files

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/add-photos-files

One-Drive - Share files and folders and change permissions

    Share OneDrive files and folders

Zip or upload the contents of C:\Windows\minidump
Use OneDrive to upload collected files

Use SkyDrive to upload collected files and post screen shot/picture. (Updated: 1/16/2012)

    Hope this helps.

Sudden and unexpected BSOD on Win10

    Hi socratesabroad,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
The zip is empty of dump files.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 10 tutorial

  5. Thanks for the reply, axe0.

OK, I checked and there were no minidumps, so I followed your
instructions to configure Win to create them.

I don't know when the OS will crash next so I don't know when
I'll be able to send the minidump.

In the meantime, here's a link to the full memory dump:
    Full memory dump (zipped)

It's a pretty big file - 253 MB zipped - and I did try to upload
it this site directly but uploading was taking too long.

The biggest cause is Norton/Symantec (Symantec is the company, Norton the product)
Please follow the uninstall instructions but do NOT install Norton again.

Please fill in your system specsPlease go to this site and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely. How to fill in your system specs:

  7. I used the tool you mentioned to update my PC specs.

I'll have to think seriously about doing this. I live in China, so firewall/
antivirus software is a necessity. I'll check into software from
    other companies.

Use Windows defender the next few months until Norton is more stable.

  9. Hello all,

Well, another BSOD occurred, but this is an error I've never seen before.

The cause is Nvidia Video driver
    Please try the following
    • Search msconfig and open it
    • Go to the tab services
    • Check 'Hide microsoft services'
    • Search Nvidia Streamer Service
    • Uncheck this service
    • Click apply > ok
    • Reboot if asked.

Windows defender is for now the best, because it is likely the most stabilized.
