Windows 10: Sudden and unwanted switch from Word 10 to Microsoft 365

I use Windows 10. I like the normal Word program on Windows 10 and I use it for everything. Suddenly, every time I open a document it doesn't open with the usual WORD box, but with 'Microsoft 365'. The tools at the top of the page are different, and they are more primitive than the options in normal Word. It does not matter that ALL my documents are saved to my computer or pen-drive as normal Word documents. They open as Microsoft 365 and I can only work using the Microsoft 365 toolbar for documents. I DO NOT WANT THIS. I don't have the 'save to cloud' option turned on. I have gone so far

I understand that you want to disable word suggestions when you type any word. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



To disable text suggestions, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Devices, and click on
   Typing on the left pane.
   
3. Now, under Typing toggle the switch to off for
   Show text suggestions as I type on the software keyboard.
   
4. Under Hardware keyboard, toggle the switch to on for
   Show text suggestions as I type.

Windows 10 Office 365 cannot open files from: recent file list

Thanks for the tip! I followed all above steps.

So far I can open files from the Recent files list when I enter Word itself, however I still am unable to open any documents using the Word icon pinned to the taskbar:

I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.
