Windows 10: SUDDEN Choppy/laggy audio in Windows 11

THE PROBLEMSuddenly, audio becomes extremely choppy, as i there's a 'hole' in the audio every 50ms or so estimation. Happens with external audio interface, I have not have it happen with the regular motherboard audio. It is awful!- I've tried changing the sample rates I usually have it at 96KHz, as I use the pc in a music studioThe problem happens at any sample rate, this is not the cause.- I've tried changing the buffer usually running 128 as it's a good setting. Can go from 16-1024 samples This is not the cause either.- Clock is synced internal as opposed to synced to Optical Spdif /

Miracast laggy video & audio

I work for the ICT department at a school and all out classrooms are outfitted with Microsoft Dispay Adapter V2s on their projectors. Up until this week there have been no issues with them but all of a sudden I'm getting loads of reports that video and audio
has become laggy and choppy, with sync issues as well.

Currently I have checked the firmware of the adapters is up to date (it is - many of these adapters have only been installed for a month or so) I suspect a recent Windows update is the culprit. I have also rolled back the most recent windows updates on one
of the teacher's laptops, and am awaiting results from their testing.

Please let me know if this is a known issue or if there are any further troubleshooting steps I can take (I have ruled out a display driver issue).

windows 11 audio becomes laggy

I bought recently a new laptop Asus Viva book with Windows 11 but the audio on YouTube or Spotify becomes laggy, and it just stops whenever I use a new tab.

 

My audio is very choppy?

That bad is audio with both my PC headset and TV. In Device Manager > Sound, Video and game controllers, and Sound > Playback tab, I've got listed:

• Mpow HC (headset)
• NVIDIA High Definition Audio (TV)
• Realtek Audio

In Device Manager, the context menu of each is the same. In Sound, the default device is NVIDIA High Definition Audio. When trying to troubleshoot, via settings, I get:





I don't know which to choose. Troubleshooting via the Taskbar speaker icon hadn't helped.
