Windows 10: Sudden enlarging and shrinking of work within the screen

When typing or when doing a puzzle, everything on the screen suddenly shrinks or enlarges and it is specific to that page only. This is very recent and I have not been able to reverse it. How can I stop this from happening? This Windows 10. It is not related to Office.

I do use the ctr + or - when I need it such as when I am reading or emailing but I can adjust that.

I have a new Lenovo laptop, and down loaded windows 10, 3 days ago.

The screen keeps enlarging or shrinking every time I use the control pad. Please help, I want to scream!

I went into settings....mouse...but couldn't find a sensitivity button.

I use the magnifying glass often editing photos, and all of a sudden my pointer is shrinking the page instead of enlarging it.

I'm not seeing the answer to this so I'm hoping you folks can help out.

I have a 256Gb SSD fitted in my laptop. Ages ago I partitioned it as C: and D: for downloads.

I got a message that a music file download of 200Mb couldn't complete as there wasn't enough space left. I've foldered my downloads but been remiss in not counting the memory used.

So, with 137Gb free space in C: I thought I'd shrink it and enlarge the D: drive. The shrink drive says I can utilise 64339Mb but no more. Push the Shrink button and it messages that there is not enough space on the disk. I only want 2Gb really but even
that messages the same. I read somewhere, but can't find it again, that you can't shrink an in-use drive. So if true, why provide the feature?

Certainly the D: drive only offers Help as a response when I click to enlarge and I fully understand it has to come from somewhere hence starting with shrinking C:
