    OK guys, so apparently there is a BIG issue with current windows 11 update. The issue in question corresponds to some sort of HDD driver. What happens is if you put your laptop to sleep by shutting the lid/screen and try to resume working from it, chances are that your HDD will stop getting detected altogther.Let me make this clear:1 It will not show up in 'This PC'2 It will not show up in 'Disk management'3 It will not show up under storage.I have had this issue happen to me twice. First time I thought that my HDD died 3yrs old and going strong, so I got it replaced. The second time ha

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
    causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:


    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

    Sudden loss of HDD detection in Windows 11

    External HDD not detected in Windows

    In Windows DiskPart say "Status: Invalid".

    How to fix it without data loss?

    The same external HDD works fine in Ubuntu but not detected in Windows.
    I had this HDD in computer and put it out of my computer because i have now only SSD's in computer.
