Windows 10: Sudden Low cpu usage.

Hey I used to play on my laptop with no stutters before I reset it because I wanted to have more performance so I watched a yt video and it said go to battery powerplan and use the high performance mode. After enabling high performance my games started to stutter. I play minecraft and gta 5 on my laptop. The specs of my laptop are i5-1035G1 cpu, 8gb ram2667mhz, Geforce mx130. I know some of you will check and tell me that my laptop falls below the minimum requirement of gta 5 but the problem is my laptop gets stutters even while im using chrome or so. Sudden jump in RAM usage, CPU temperatures

I have performed a "clean boot" as instructed.

Afterwards the notebook ran noticeably better: fan low, RAM 21%, swap 20%, CPU usage nil, temperatures 53-54 degrees C.

Audiodg.exe Spikes Cpu Usage

Every 5 minutes or so audiodg.exe spikes my cpu usage to about 50% and any audio im playing cuts out and then comes back a second or 2 later. The video is completely fine and it's not a problem with
my USB Headset. audiodg.exe stays at low cpu usage when it's not spiking.

Solutions I've tried:

1. turning off audio enhancements
2. reinstalling lan, and audio drivers
3. turning off HPET
4. lowering the sound quality in control panel
5. DPC Latency checker (no change when spiking)

None of these solutions work. Please help.

 

High CPU Usage from Explorer.exe


Alright, so I also found your Solved section before, I tried that then, and now.

I then did a scan with MWB, which picked up a few files but nothing it deemed dangerous. I ran a full scan on my AV instead of a quick scan, and it picked up 3 Severe, which it hadn't before. I removed those and then booted into safe mode.

The High CPU usage was there, but was remedied when I did the solved steps again safe mode. Explorer.exe then remain low CPU usage (<1%) until I rebooted normally. The problem was still there out of safe mode and was not fixed by repeated the steps again.
