Windows 10: Sudden PC reboot with a krrr sound

i was playing gta 5 and suddenly this happenedfound this in event viewer The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

No sound after reboot in Windows 10

At some point my sound in windows disappeared. I can't be sure what caused it but I am sure it happened directly after a skype meeting(skype for business) where I used skype for the first time with my mic instead of my phone. After many hours of searching
and trying the following:

• Sound troubleshooter in windows
• Reinstalling the sound drivers
• Using a clean boot where I disabled all non windows services and startup programs
• Setting my sound system as the default.
• Many google searches.

I finally discovered one way to get my sound to work which is the following procedure.

1. go to device manager
2. right click my Realtek High Definition Audio, remove the device and all installed drivers.
3. Reboot
4. repeat step 2
5. repeat step 3

It baffles me why I have to remove my drivers twice. But finally my sound works. Only one problem. If I reboot again my sound is gone again and I have to go through above steps again to get to work once.

Please help, I tried everything I can think of or find on google.

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
