    Sudden Shutdowns and Immediate Reboots

Problem Description:Hi everyone, I'm seeking help with an issue I'm experiencing with my PC. The computer shuts down and immediately reboots by itself, without any error messages, usually shortly after the first startup of the day, and always during low-load situations, like idling or browsing.Problem Timeline:Spring/Summer: I noticed the first sudden shutdowns and reboots. I tried resolving the issue by replacing the power supply, but I'm not sure if it was the actual cause.Temporary Fix: After trying a few things unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what, the problem seemed to go away f

    PC is Suffering Unexpected Shutdowns

Most important detail to me would be whether these shutdowns are sudden, in which case it's likely a short or PSU issue (capacitor aging maybe?) or graceful windows style shutdowns, which suggests software interference.

It could also be overheating components if it's a sudden shutdown. What are your thermals like?

sudden shutdown/sudden reboot symthom of overheating?

few days was real hot.... and the room doesnt have ac. i notice theres a strong heat coming out of the holes in the case as i put my hand on it.

after a moment.. i went outside to get some drink.... came back and see my computer shut down completely. hit the power.... but no work. i thought it is overheating and the PSU fried. anyway after i lay back for 10min doing nothing..... i plug in/out the PSU cord then hit the power..... then it turn on!

and today.... jus now.... it reboot itself when i jus turned on the computer for less than 20min. so what is the deal? any idea? it never happend like this before.

this is the computer on the system spec.

    Shutdown then Immediately Restarts

    Try below command:

    Code:
If above command wont work try below suggestion.

    1. Click the “K” menu in the bottom left corner.
    2. Click “Logout”.
    3. Knoppix will begin shutting down.
    4. The Knoppix CD will be ejected.
    5. Remove the CD and close the tray.
    6. Press Enter on the keyboard.
    7. Knoppix will attempt to turn off the computer automatically. If it doesn't turn off automatically, it is now safe to turn off the computer yourself using the power button.
